Day 11 – lockdown

Day 11 – lockdown

Day Four
I went to a store
To get some groceries and Veggies
The list was basic
Just fruits overload and no meat no eggies

Stood in a queue
Distanced at three feet
The siren of an ambulance
And my heart skipped a beat.

Got a quick lesson on needs and want
Made a resolution to make a list first
Based on a balance pantry stock

Lessening the needs is the order of the day
If you want two, make it half
And keep it for another day

Stay indoors and stay safe
Manage with available resources
Spend time with family
Spend time alone
Universe will heal
Tough times come, teach
And have never been there for long.

Here in the US, we have a 6 feet distance rule. I like how you capture the day in prose.

    Thanks.

We have to stay six feet away here. This will be a great reminder of this pandemic years down the road.

So much has changed all around the world because of the virus. We stand 6 feet apart and although we are not in lock down in my state, we don’t go out, my sweet granddaughter checks to make sure we have what we need at the grocery store.
